The government of Russian federation has approved a resolution no. 496 defining licensing rules regarding catch of biological resources such as fish, sea animals and plants.

This resolution establishes the procedure for licensing of catch and transportation of sea bio resources, their terms and conditions and describes also list of documents to be attached to the application from.

The State Fishery Committee of Russian Federation has been authorized to issue licences for the terms of 5 years. All vessels and regional representatives who meet the requirements will get a duplicate in addition to the licence itself.
