Evgeny Nazdratenko thinks that the process of allocating the quotas to the regions should be public and transparent.

The Chairman of the State Committee of Fisheries of Russian Federation told this on the press conference devoted to the completion of legalization and distribution of orders about industrial quota redistribution to the coastal regions.

The orders allocate quotas to the organisations which have sent the applications and passed through the competitive selection on the fishery councils in the regions. This year the distribution process was delayed due to the fact that the government decided to decrease the quotas for the Far East region with 30%. It has been searched for the compromise but the process of allocating of the scientific quotas is also not finished.
